Trying To Conceive
You’ve decided it’s time to inaugurate a family or add on to your existing family! This is a very curious time in your life and for some it can also be a very challenging time. Some lucky people are able to conceive right away, but then there are many that conceiving will take a grand longer time. Here I will share with you the things that I have tried, tips, techniques, and also products that I have found to be the most helpful and the most cost effective. This article will give you the information you are looking for and hopefully develop this journey into parenthood much easier!
When you first status out to TTC (try to conceive) you will want to start monitoring you ovulation cycle. Typically a woman will begin to ovulate around days 12-16 of her cycle. This is counting your first day of your period as day one. These days are going to be the most important days for you to monitor and keep track of. Having intercourse on these days will greatly increase your odds of conceiving that month. There are products on the market today that can help you detect when you will ovulate. Approximately 24 hours before you ovulate your body will release a hormone known as the luteinizing hormone (LH). You can consume ovulation tests that will detect this LH surge. It is commonly a stick test, mighty like a pregnancy test, that detects this hormone through a urine sample. I have found these test to be very expensive, especially if it takes you a while to pinpoint your LH surge or if it takes you longer to conceive. I’ve found that buying cheap stick tests online (ones that do not have plastic casings) to be just as effective at a fraction of the cost. This will allow you to test more frequently without having to worry about cost.
Now lets get down to business, intercourse. What may sound simple now becomes complex and worrisome. The key here is to just relax and enjoy the time you are spending with your partner. Stress will only cause performance anxiety. The best position for conceiving is missionary position, man on top. It also helps if the woman puts a small pillow under her hips to slightly elevate the hips. This runt elevation will keep the sperm in the vaginal canal and keep it going in the right direction. Be careful not to elevate your hips to high (such as propping your feet against the wall) as this can “pinch” your cervix closed. Now that the deed is done it is most pleasant for the woman to remain laying down (with hips slightly elevated) for approximately 30 minutes. This ensures time for the sperm to manufacture it past the cervix. You should aim to have intercourse every other day after you detect your LH surge. Taking a day off between the days you have intercourse is very important. This allows the man to not only create up more sperm, but it also ensures that he will have stronger and more mobile sperm.
Now that the basics are out of the way it’s a good time to consider natural fertility boosters. There are many different things you can do to increase your fertility naturally. This goes for both men and women. Diet is important when TTC. You’ll want to eat as healthy a diet as possible. Stay away from caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, and processed foods as considerable as possible. It is also believed that a man can increase his fertility by drinking tomato juice. If you choose to try this I suggest buying a juicer and making the juice yourself. This diagram your not taking in any extra preservatives or additives that you may find in store bought juices.
So now you’re on your contrivance to conceive, but you want to do more to ensure your success or you’ve tried everything and want another alternative before turning to medical treatments. This is where I would like to suggest trying a product called Fertilaid. I was TTC for 15 months before someone told me about this product. My doctor had already recommended Colmid several times, but I just wasn’t ready to go that route honest yet. The thing that drew me to Fertilaid the most was that it is an all-natural alternative to prescription medications. In most cases this also means less side effects if any at all. It is also the only natural supplement that I’ve found that offers a combo pack for men and women. This way you’re boosting both male and female fertility at the same time. I found the supplement very easy to take. You begin taking the supplement as soon as you get it in no matter where you are in your cycle. You take 3 pills a day. For optimum effectiveness you should spread your 3 pills out throughout the day. I took one at breakfast, one at lunch, and then the third pill at dinner. I received my Fertilaid in the mail the day before my period started and began taking them right away. My husband started his right away as well. Before my next period was due I was already having pregnancy symptoms. When I was 10 days past ovulation I took a pregnancy test and got my very first positive! That was the most sharp day for me!
After 15 long and hard months of TTC my day finally arrived. I highly recommend giving Fertilaid a try as well as trying the tips and techniques outlined in this article. TTC is a broad decision in your life and now you can develop that dream come true! I wish you all nothing but the best of luck on your journey to becoming a parent!
